Event Description

The Consortium of Indiana Medical Laboratory Educators (CIMLE) will be offering a one day comprehensive review course for Medical Laboratory Science. All presenters are highly qualified medical laboratory professionals with most being current or past instructors for laboratory science programs in Indiana. The review course targets students currently enrolled in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) and Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) programs who are preparing to sit for national certification exams after graduation. However, the course is open to all interested participants. Each 90-minute presentation is designed to review one laboratory science area.  Individual sessions cover Chemistry, Microbiology Hematology, and Immunohematology.  Study packets will be provided for Immunology, Urinalysis/Body Fluids and Laboratory Practice.

We will be offering half-day registrations.

Morning: Chemistry & Hematology Reviews

Afternoon: Immunohematology and Microbiology Reviews

Food is not provided during this event, but attendees are welcome to bring their own food. Refrigerators and microwaves are not available for lunches. Food is available at the IUPUI Campus Center (Chick-fil-A, Pizza Hut, Panda Express, Caribou Coffee, and others) or other on-campus and off-campus venues.
